As we close Womens month,consider this: 1. Patriachy and inequality has some women guilty of perpetuating and entrenching it. 2. Patriachy needs more than feminism and slogans to demolish it. 3. Patriachy is already under threat,education is positioning women out of bedroom to boardroom(and back). Careful if you are not moving from the bedroom to skill yourself.No doubt you wont see the boardroom! 4. SASSA cards are not emancipation cards or proof of freedom,but they may make you glorify the status quo. 5. Hooking up rich men is not emancipation,it is like enjoying a meal heavily chained. 6. Dancing and partying a storm every weekend is not a career,try a real career and step up against patriachy and inequality. 7. Your mans cars are his,so are his castles(if he has),do not be too comfortable lest you be a slave of your(mis) thinking! How can you settle for being defined by his cars and houses? 8. Do not settle to be Gizzas girlfiend,find prominence rather let him be Marys boyfriend rather than walk in his shadow. 9. Do not feel inadequate because you are not married so as to be desperate to just pick what others have dropped,it can set you back a million years! 10. Lastly,women can emancipate themselves,they need no man for that to happen,they need themselves united. Not against any gender primarily,but for gender equality!
