As we come closer to the So it is premiere, I cant help but think of everything that happened since last years video. 2014 has been the best year of my life (BY FAR). Publishing my short poetry collection, meeting all my new Japanese friends and visiting their homes around Japan was beyond my imagination, crossing paths with the girl of my dreams on my birthday (of all dates), and now this Art show that celebrates my nature and what I live for - Skateboarding. So it is is a small piece of what Ive worked 13 years of my life for, Ive broken my feet a few times, a few of my fingers, people know that Im just always in some kind of injury, and thats what skateboarding is all about, the pain is worth the cause. Skateboarding grants us the freedom that we spend our entire lives searching for, it keeps us timeless, powerful and most importantly breaks our expectations. This show couldnt be any more significant by the fact that I am sharing this moment with all of my friends from Vancouver Island in my blessed Canadian life. To end it all off, I get to go home and spend christmas with my family. So I just wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU to all of you who made it possible for this Saturday to exist. For this show, this moment of celebration and for the care of our shared belief in the raw street culture of Skateboarding - For it brings us together as a community through our own individual battle. Love always.
