As we enter the month of September, I want to let you know something that satan has used to keep people in bondage...the so called ADDICTION. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Allow me bring you this truth and by the grace of God: that there is nothing like addiction in the Bible and in Gods Word and terminologies. √°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°√ Now what to the sinners or the worldy people, that thing that they find themselves doing over and over again is because: 1. They are already sinners and in state of sin by the disobedience of one man, Adam. 2. They are mastered by the devil and sin becomes their lifestyle, therefore; whatever thing they do they do to gratify the desires of the flesh - which is corruption even in its most holy state. Plus the devil has nothing to tempt them with because they are his. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°^°°°°°°°°°° However, to they that in Christ they are a new creation and an enemy to Satan. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° This then brings in the point that I have understood by the help of the Spirit of God, that whatever thing that is sinful that they find themselves doing over and over/ often / repeatedly ( is not an ADDICTION- this is a worldly term and Satans vocabulary. its not in the Bible) rather it is due to the temptations that Satan lodge against us to try to make us conscious of sin, caused by our desires of the flesh and when we yield to those desires we fall into temptation. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° This is a weakness that the devil has marked in mortal bodies and he persistently tempts you in that specific area which you then find yourself falling into that one sin over and over and over. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° It is not your way of life, but by you not realizing your weakness and invoking Gods grace and receiving His grace over your weakness, then you find yourself falling in sin.... °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° But I dont want you to forget this one thing, that since you got born again you became a new creation, no matter what you do you are counted righteous on Christs account and God remembers your sins no more. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° The reason Satan keeps on tempting you in that one area of weakness is that you may give up and accept the lifestyle of sin becoming hardened by losing the consciousness of the Holy Spirit and becoming sin conscious again. It is to divert us from focusing on the finished work of Jesus Christ and focusing on our weakness and this is falling from grace as we now start thinking of our self efforts to overcome. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° To overcome this, focus on the finished work of Jesus Christ and believe that He finished all and that God remembers your sins no more and will never remember any acts of unrighteousness that you commit for Christ fulfilled all righteousness for your sake. Believe Receive and Thank God for His eternal gift of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
