As we gather for worship today and with this being the 4th of July weekend. Lets not forget to take time to remember the cost that was paid so we can still gather freely in our nation for the sole purpose of worshiping God. And let us not only thank God for these freedoms we enjoy, but that He not allow us to take them fro granted and that we do our part to protect our freedoms we enjoy as Americans. And might we also take time to thank Him for the greatest freedom of all. The freedom we have through the person and finished work of His Son, Jesus Christ alone!. And today might we see in our services many come to know that freedom as they come to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. And may we His children never take our freedom in Christ for granted, but rather ask God to give us opportunities to share that freedom and how one comes to that freedom with the unsaved we encounter in our daily lives.
