As we have no Performances here in Canada today at the Royal Winter Fair, I thought Id take my team out one by one to see all of the sights and sounds. From left to right, we have Pride watching some of the native wildlife of Toronto City (40 or so Torontoite offspring in their natural habitat). Next up is Sequel, as we watch two beautiful Friesians in harness go by as he looked over his shoulder at me and said Dad, are they the Friesians that milk come from?, and I told him No mate, theyre black and white and Udderly different. The Next shot shows Hope and I following the Mounted Police around the grounds, as he thought that it was safer to follow them then have them follow us and as they stopped, dismounted and looked straight at us, Hopes quick look away and body posture was saying loud and clear It wasnt Me Pic four shows Spinabbey on the downward ramp at the Horse Palace doing his best Man from Snowy River impersonation and pic five shows Lightning, my undefeated Cow Horse Champion (Hes only done it Once but he did Win), wishing with all of his might that one of the cows from the cattle section at the Fair, would break free so that we could lap it around the city a bit and bring it back. All in all, it was a wonderful morning all round and I cant wait to share this fantastic group of individuals as an Awesome Team in the great horse program here at the Fair from tomorrow through Sunday.
