As we learn our manufacturing process, in time to set up our shiny new factory, Im amazed at so many different little things. Im amazed at how beautifully the Universe connects all of us in her intricate, gossamer like web. I was introduced to the young men at Káfal by my classmate, Nidhi Arora . They started Kafal, a fine brand of introducing Himalayan seasonings and super foods to people like you and me, by providing marketing and operational support to small and marginal farmers who grow these wonderful herbs and plants. The Kafal team sources many of the aromatic herbs that go into our skin goodies. In this set of goodies, the lemongrass that goes into our Little people body wash and the Mint that goes into the big people body wash has been sent to us by them. Of course , these aromatic herbs that Kafal so kindly sends us are truly good - the farmers who grow this gorgeousness are paid a fair price. The produce is unsprayed , and is not tainted with chemical fertilisers and pesticides. The herbs smell great. Our Minty body wash is zingy and wakes you up in the morning when you have a bath. And our Lemongrass body wash for Kids is delicate and soothing - it is a wonderful, nourishing and calming product and leaves the skin feeling super moisturized and happy. It is wonderful for me to begin to have a glipmse of how connected we are. Many moons ago, I went across to IIM Calcutta, and one of the first people I met was Nidhi Arora. Many are the times we have spent speaking about plants, divinne healing and spirituality. Nidhi continued to explore spirituality and healing as she made her way through the corporate world with her work at Esha - People for the Blind , an initiative that continues to inspire me. When we launched the Krya detergent, Nidhi was one of our first consumers, and her encouragement and appreciation put us a lot of resolve and positivity into us. And a year ago, just when we started to put the pieces together on our range of skin goodies, Nidhi came back and magickally introduced us to the young men at Kafal, one of whom is a junior of mine from IIM calcutta. As I sit here today, marvelling at the patterns of the Universe, I feel blessed, nourished and taken care of. And I wish you , a nourished, magickal Tuesday.
