As we mentioned a couple of weeks back… WARBEAST is looking for a Bassist for an upcoming 7-week tour in Feb/March. We already had some great responses. But we wanted to mention this opportunity again for those that might have missed it. Plus, I want to make it very clear that this Bassist needs to be in the D/FW area. Because of the short time-frame and with the Holidays upon is… it isn’t realistic that we can get 10 songs tight with someone if they can’t be here in person to jam with us as an entire band. We were very impressed by many of the talented Bassist that contacted us. But most of them were from a different state. Of course some of them could probably learn most of the songs on their own. But it’s always different when you play with the entire band… and we do take our live performances seriously… and we like to be well-prepared. So no offense to anyone outside of D/FW… but we want to only hear from Bassist that can jam with us in D/FW for a few weeks before the tour starts. The tour will include other great bands and we are direct support of the headliner. There will be around 38 total shows and will hit a large portion of the USA. **Please pay close attention to the following qualifications that we are asking for before you consider replying.*** ONCE AGAIN… PLEASE BE IN THE D/FW AREA! Please have all of your own “good” equipment. You must be able to have some week nights to rehearse in Arlington before the tour You need to be able to learn a lot of our material on your own. You must be able to be on the road for 7 weeks…. and be able to handle it. We want a Bassist that will be able to play our style of Thrash with a Pick and not their Fingers.
