As we near the end of the school year, it is common to reflect back over the months that seem to have gone by so quickly! Thanks to all of you who have sent us such positive comments about your experiences this year. One of our families offered for us to share their thoughts. We are so grateful they did and we decided to take them up on the offer to pass their words to you: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Peters, When I look back at this school year, words cannot come close to express our gratitude we have for Cambridge. As I have shared with you before, Sophia had an awful year at public school in first grade and we lost our bubbly, happy child. Within weeks at Cambridge we got our girl back! When Sophia started Cambridge we just wanted her to like herself again. Honestly, at this point academics for us were put on the back burner. Cambridge has blown our expectations away! Not only does Sophia feel good about herself, her reading, writing and math skills have improved 100%! Ms. Hill has been over the top! Her warm and kindness has filled Sophias heart! Sophia wants to work hard for her. Sophia wants to be a teacher just like Ms. Hill. One time Sophia was upset with us because we wouldnt let her do something and as she cried with madness she said “the only person that loves me is Ms. Hill. As we laughed we knew she feels so loved by Ms. Hill which made us so happy. Ms. Hill has taught Sophia how to read and write. She is so talented and has found her calling. We cannot say enough about Ms. Hill, she is the best! Again as I look back on this school year, I smile. There is such a warmth and kindness that fills the air at Cambridge. From my first phone call with Melody, who took the time to talk to me and connect with me, I could feel the love through the phone. When Sophia had her Tae Kwon Do show at the Cambridge gym, we ran into some icy roads and were running late. I phoned the school to let them know. Sophia was worried and upset in the car. We quickly ran her in the gym. I’ll never forget how Mr. Maher, warmed her and got right down to her level and calmly said Sophia, we have your uniform, you can change and join your class. With his ease I could see Sophia sigh with relief, knowing everything was going to be ok. Thank you Mr. Maher for being YOU! We share so many happy memories of this past year with Sophia and cannot thank you enough! We feel blessed to be a part of Cambridge! Thank you and your wonderful, loving staff! We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to another fabulous school year! Much love, Dan and Amy Fishman Again, we could not be more thrilled with Cambridge! I wish I could find the right words to express how happy we are! Please feel free to share our note, we hope you all know how important you are in our lives! Much Love, Amy
