As we prepare for the new year I cannot help but reflect on the past one. Some parts of it were pretty tough. We lost Alvins dad, I had 4 surgeries and almost lost my life during the last one. But we also had some wonderful things happen too. We became parents to our beautiful babies when their adoption was finalized and Mr. Johnny got to see it only months before he joined Maw Maw Mildred in heaven. We also got the joyous news that my wonderful brother and his beautiful wife are expecting again ( a boy this time). I feel so fortunate to be blessed with a wonderful family and great friends that offered up prayers and support through it all. Every day that I am here is a gift from GOD and Im am looking forward to what this new year has in store for us. So Happy NewYear to all and may God bless each and every one.
