As we start to celebrate our 85th anniversary, it seems fitting that we spotlight the history of the Visalia Fox Theatre. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing a ton of great historic photos of our beloved theatre. These photos take a step back in time - when the theatre was pristine and no attention to detail was missed. Memories were being made and a community was falling in love with the treasure of downtown Visalia. Now 85 years since the doors first opened, we are looking to the community of Visalia to help us recover our past and restore our history. Things we are hoping to do include: conduct interviews with those that have stories to share; obtain old images that show the theatre through the years; and recover some of the old artifacts that decorated our theatre.
