As we traveled around to various NICU/Labor & Delivery units at hospitals and doctors offices today to thank all the nurses that help the babies with Down syndrome and their parents, we happened to be in the right place at the right time. We were leaving one hospital and we were chased down by a nurse who said they had a new baby in the NICU that had just been diagnosed with Down syndrome and the parent was wanting to talk to us. It was fate that we were there and we were able to give the mom the reassurances that everything is going to be OK. This is one reason why your donation tonight at the 9 p.m. hour is so important to what we do.
