As we turn the page on the calendar, I turn the page on the next - TopicsExpress

As we turn the page on the calendar, I turn the page on the next phase of my career. Since 1991 (23 years, oh my) I have been out on my own. Ive had some great clients, theaters to manage, theaters to direct for, some terrific business partners, and more. But after several requests and an offer I couldnt refuse, I now go from working with a handful of clients at a time to working with about 16,000 doctors, several thousand businesses, and more than a million individuals working for them as I take on the new challenges of Exec VP and Chief Marketing Officer for a great company in Pittsburgh (more on that later). A couple times each month Ill wing my way to Pittsburgh and work there; the rest of the time Ill work in my home office (hey... how could I possibly move when my grandkids are 1 mile from my home!??) Oh, sure: Ill have to cut back on some Wed meals with Mom, might miss a few Meetups and church meetings, spend more time on airplanes, and hope that my TSA Known Traveler Number will help speed me through security... but the challenges are exciting and the benefits to my family are great. Life is full of excitement - and Im glad this has come my way.
