As we were leaving for Nicaragua this year, a gentleman was sitting between Kurt and I on the first flight from Omaha to Houston. He asked what we were doing and said that was great that we were going. He also wondered if there wasnt an awful lot of need right here in the USA. My response was that I take one week out of the year to go to Nicaragua which leaves me 51 weeks to share the Gospel back home. I left it at that with him, but as I reflect on our trip and on that conversation, I am convicted. What exactly do I do with those other 51 weeks? Am I truly the hands and feet of Christ? Do I share the Gospel every day, using words when necessary? I know the answer to that and I dont like it. So I want your help. Nicabuddies (thanks Pam Bogue!) do me a favor. Hold me accountable and check with me when you see me. Text me. Email me. Message me. Frequently. A simple How have you shared the Gospel today? will suffice. I dont want to be one who only shares once a year or when an obvious situation arises. Help me to find ways every day. Thanks!
