As with much of their music, the lyrical content of this song by the Knife is so odd that it’s a bit hard for me to tell you exactly what I think it is about. But the word “Reindeer” is repeated alongside the behavioural patterns of this animal being unfolded. However, the Christmas groove cannot be touched, and if your house is full of goths at Christmas or you fancy something a little darker on your stereo, but nonetheless danceable, then this track is the one you should go to.
