Personally I think that the petition will not succeed due to legal problems but supporting the petition is still a good idea because: - Symbian bugs could be fixed. - Apps could use functionality which is currently hidden. - Maybe the great Nokia 808 PureView camera sensor could be exploited with functionality we all want (e.g. real RAW data access, custom exposure times, ...)
