As you all know you have seen all of this talk and information for the big event I Hope so many can participate in. First and foremost this is a fund raiser for The Carter Hope Center in Dalton, Ga. The Carter Hope Center helps people that want to help themselves. They do so only when someone is Willing. Like other similar organizations but also the Center is ran by individuals who have recovered and continue to this day paying IT forward. They understand and know exactly where each individual has been and what they are going through. They exist as a not for profit which basically means they have little funding other than what they raise through events such as The 24 Hours of Hope. Though many will participate and lots of new personal best may be achieved, this is still for the benifit of those who are learning to help themselves, this is the Goal. Ironic the first home in Dalton with electricty is giving back to those who need the most energy they can handle to survive. All the best, Ric...
