As you know there are a bewildering array of different Podenco types in Spain, all bred for either specific game or bred for the hunt in specific regions of Spain. Sometimes it is very difficult to tell what type of Podenco you are looking at (not easy for SOS either, lol) but we think we have identified several very distinctive types. I cannot guarantee that these identifications are accurate but they will give you an idea. Also, within each type you have several variations which complicate matters even more. For example, you can have 3 different sizes within each type, chico, medio and grande. Within each type and each size you can have a further 3 variations in coat, smooth, rough and long.
