As you listen to the music and the words to the song Joy to the World being sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir I want to encourage you to think about the Words. 1. Joy to the World, the Lord has come! Let earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, The greatest moment in our history was the day our Lord Jesus Christ was born. He came as a child on the earth through a virgin named Mary. After His death on the cross He arose three days later and is offering to All who will receive Him salvation that starts in the heart when we come to the foot of the cross - realizing how much we need Him as our Lord and Savior and what He has done for us. So He asks us to make to room in our hearts for Him, His love for us, His becoming our Lord and Savior. 2. Joy to the World, the Savior reigns! Let men their songs employ; When Jesus reigns Supreme as the Savior there is Justice and Righteousness, there is peace, there is fulfillment, there is hope and there is a true relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We were created to Praise and Worship the Lord Jesus Christ. When we Praise Him amazing things happen. When Joshua and the Israelites Praised the Lord the walls of Jericho literally came down. When we Praise the Lord Jesus inhabits the Praises of His people; when that happens there is Always Vibrant Life. 3. No more let sins and sorrows grow, Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found, Far as the curse is found, Far as, far as, the curse is found. When you have a true relationship with Jesus as your Lord and Savior and have the Holy Spirit living inside of you; you literally have no desires for sin. You now have a new desire to please your Lord and Savior. He takes away the thorns and thistles and gives us new life; then He takes Every Curse and turns it into a Blessing for those who serve Him. Who have Him as their Lord and Savior. Psalms 23: 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. 4. He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, And wonders of His love, And wonders, wonders, of His love When Jesus is full within your heart you will find that He does rule the earth with Truth and Grace. You will find through a relationship with Jesus that He is not a man that He should lie. He is a God who can be trusted; every Word that comes from Him through His true prophets and the Him. As a matter of fact He sees All of those who have called upon Him as their Lord and Savior. He saw Job, He saw David, He saw Mary, He saw Nathaniel, and He saw the children of Adam and Eve.....
