As you may know, the Board of Education has hired an architectural firm to prepare a proposal detailing necessary and immediate repairs for the safety and security of both Beechwood and Deerfield schools. This is in the light of the fact that the State is presently offering all schools, who qualify and meet the deadline, a 40% grant to pay for same. Our facilities need security upgrades, roofs, asbestos removal, and energy repairs to name only a few. The architect will be presenting this finalized plan at the 8/27/13 Board of Education meeting 7:30 pm at Beechwood. Please attend this very important meeting for more information.
