As you may know we ran our first tournament on sunday, what a great day it was with 6 teams turning up (SOLD OUT) competing for nothing but bragging rights! The hit taking was exceptional and just goes to show that tournaments can work within airsoft and i am confident in saying that everyone that participated enjoyed themselves and a different side to airsoft. We capped the day off with a big pistol only game and the whole day was a success, there is only 1 reason for it being a success and that is man power, with 6 marshals marshalling each game the result was hit taking was exceptional, the organisation and running of the event was smooth, The safe zone remained safe, organised and manned. The winning team just so happened to be a team formed on the day from a few guys that didnt have a full 5 man team but joined up with new guys and won with some out standing play. Congratulations to The Rogue team. We even had to have a play off for 2nd place it really was a tight tournament. My upmost thanks and gratitude have to go out to the following for running the day with myself Tom Graves Ben Badura Ben Graves Ailish Ford and special thanks to Alistair Leaper & James Leaper for coming up on their day off to marshal as alistair couldnt play. Details of our events through out August will be released this week and i must say we have got many DIFFERENT events in store for you. JB
