As you prepare for the monster that is mosquito season here in Florida. We ask that you take a moment to consider the homeless men, women, and children who are constantly exposed to the elements and the threat of mosquitos. As you head to the store to pick up insect repellent this summer we ask that you pick up a few extra bottles to donate. It is the little things like bug spray that help when dealing with homelessness. Food and water can be obtained through food stamps and homeless shelters but many homeless do not have the resources to purchase insect repellent. Please keep Catholic Charities in your mind as you head to the store over the next few weeks and pick up some extra bug spray to donate.
