Asahi India conducted pool campus placement drive at CT Group of Institutions Asahi India Glass Limited held a pool campus placement drive at CT Group of Institutions for recruiting students of B.Tech (ME) 2015 passing out. 4 students were selected in the recruitment process held at seminar hall of CTIEMT, Shahpur campus. In the pool campus drive as many as 117 students from different colleges of Punjab participated including Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda, Giani Jial Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, CT Group of Institutions and from others. The selection process included four rounds following a group discussion, technical, language & aptitude and final interview on the basis of which the company shortlisted 4 students for recruitment on the annual salary package of Rs 2.75 lakh. The final interview round was conducted by the company’s, Chief Human Resource Officer Mr. Devarshi Deb and Corporate HR Mr. Utkarsh Goyal. They briefed the students about the company’s profile and made them aware that the company sought devoted and talented job-seekers.” They said, “CT Group of Institutions has always provided us the best employees’, this is the reason we have been conducting this pool placement drives at their campus.” It is pertinent to mention AIS is the largest glass company in India. The company is transforming itself from being a manufacturer of world-class products to a “Solutions” provider. The company has three operating business units as AIS Automotive Glass, AIS Architectural Glass (Float and Glass Solutions) and AIS Consumer Glass (Auto Services - AIM, AIA & WE and Glass Xpert). Besides, we have around 10 plants in four major locations across India namely Bawal, Roorkee, Chennai and Taloja. Group Director (CT Institutions) Dr. Manoj Kumar said, “Our Institutions is keen to organise such placement drives with an objective to create ample job opportunities for the students from different streams. Our students were very happy with the attitude of the company officials which was very encouraging and on positive towards them.” Exclaimed over the thunderous response, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions S.
