Interested candidates send your CVs Position: Oracle Senior EPM Systems Analyst Description: The Senior Oracle EPM Systems Analyst will be involved in technical development, administration and maintenance of our enterprise planning, ESSBASE and Enterprise Intelligence applications (specifically OBIEE) which rely on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management as the foundational system. The Oracle EPM application is deployed across the organsiation, and is a critical application supporting line management, finance, and other professionals for their planning and reporting information needs. The candidate will act as the subject matter experts on the design of the application and the associated databases, and ensures that it is functioning as necessary to deliver timely and accurate performance management information to the user community. He will work in tandem with Finance and other corporate users to coordinate and execute each quarterly forecasting cycle and to deliver timely and accurate performance reporting data, and also works closely with the IT Operations and other applications team regarding the technical system infrastructure. The Senior Oracle EPM Systems Analyst will aid in execution of the following mission areas: - Prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes by coordinating work of team members - Provide expertise on Oracle EPM application with emphasis on ESSBASE and leverage this expertise to direct future extensions of the application in the company, such as, but not limited to advanced Business intelligence capabilities. - Develop cross-functional relationships to assist in understanding issues and developing solutions that meet business and technical requirements - Create and foster atmosphere of continuous improvement in our planning and reporting tools and capabilities; work closely with line and corporate functions to develop new requirements for implementation - Focus on service delivery to user community by ensuring systems are available/online and that maintenance tasks are well coordinated and performed timely. - Maintain active communication with user community on system status and new developments - Provide ongoing training and support for deployed applications - Stay abreast of changes to the information systems and ensure Oracle EPM ESSBASE reporting functions as necessary to meet those needs - Institute best practices for data load, validation, and other O&M activities across all enterprise intelligence systems Planning, Forecasting & ESSBASE: - Develop and implement detailed procedures to successfully test, deploy and support the planning application for each quarterly forecasting cycle. - Develop new planning reports or update existing planning/forecast reports each quarter as necessary - Design, test and build new performance reports based on requirements provided from the functional organizations. - Maintain existing reports and support report enhancements as necessary (support updates to latest forecast, latest fiscal year, new account additions or account category changes, etc.). - Ensure data interfaces and data loads successfully run each period and are validated. Reconcile data to source systems as necessary. - Schedule and monitor all system related activities that occur daily/nightly during each cycle (calculations, data loads, refreshes, backups, etc.), coordinating with corporate ITS. - Provide help desk support to user community, address tickets (troubleshooting). Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Finance or related field and a minimum of 8 years related experience with 5+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or an IT/Operations Management environment. - Experience with Oracle EPM planning applications/ESSBASE preferred. Experience with Oracle EPM System 11, Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Data Management and business intelligence tools is a plus.
