Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu everyone!! InshaAllah you are all doing wonderful. Striving to stay on top of your deen. Fighting shaitan who tries everyday to bring down your iman. Its tuff remaining steadfast in this deen with so many hindering avenues in this dunya. This is our test. Our test is our faith in Allah swt. Whos showing Him the sincere love we have for Him and his Rasul (saw)? Whos calling on Him and none other? Whos putting their trust in Him? Whos giving Him their time, learning the deen of Allah swt. The dunya, everything around us is a distraction...the tv, social networks, keeping up with trends etc. Dont get me wrong we need balance BUT a lot of times this balance is UNbalanced. Either we are more into our books/lectures/Quran/hadith or we are more captivated by this dunya. The scale is never steady. This is our test. Always be a reminder to yourself. Ask yourself how does my scale look? and which is weighing more my deen and devotion or the dunya? Iblis challenged Allah swt saying: See? This one whom You have honoured above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few! (Al-Isra 17:62) This is shaitans method, to seek revenge because of Allah swt preferring Adam (as) over him. His pride was wounded and with that his promise and threat was that the majority of mankind will be in his camp, follow him, and only but a few will be obedient to Allah swt. And indeed Iblis (Satan) did prove true his thought about them, and they followed him, all except a group of true believers (in the Oneness of Allāh). (Saba 34:20) The above quoted ^^^ is our MOTIVATION! When someone tells us they are going to beat us in something, if someone challenges us, what do we do? We most likely take on that challenge, compete, and try to come out on top as winners, try to come out victorious. So let us fight inshaAllah everyday to become victorious; And our victory shall be Paradise. May Allah swt keep us and our ummah steadfast and rooted in our religion. Ameen
