Asbestos Supervisor - Immediate Start Posted by: AJO Client Account Posted date: 24-Oct-2014 Location: London/Home Counties An Asbestos Supervisor is required for a London based Company to manage projects throughout London and around the M25 and surrounding home counties. The company continues to expand and win work from repeat clients and now require a permanently employed Asbestos Supervisor to join their growing team. You must be capable of supervising all types of asbestos removal works and possess excellent man management and administrative skills with a strong knowledge of health and safety in the workplace. Your role and responsibilities will include: Site set up, asbestos removal and disposal according to the method statement and scope of works. Site inductions Ensuring that all daily/weekly site checks are properly conducted and documented Ensure all onsite equipment (including DCU’s, RPE/PPE etc) is maintained and used in accordance with statutory and manufacturers guidelines. Liaising with clients and the general public. Salary: £31,200 - £33,800 pa plus company van Annual leave: 20 days (pro rata), plus statutory holidays Location: Within the M25 and surrounding home counties A full driving licence is required, You must have excellent communication skills and the ability and experience to manage teams of asbestos operatives and liaise with the general public and clients. You must also hold up to date relevant certification, including current medical and supervisor certificates.
