After visiting Palenque our expedition will continue its journey towards the jungle region of Guatemala of El Peten towards the famous island of Flores, famously known as the last place of Mayan resistance against the Spanish conquest. We will travel along the Mexican, Guatemala border reaching Flores night time! The following day out team will visit the first Mayan Archeological site in Guatemala one of the most iconic pyramids in the Maya World and the most important symbol to the ancestral roots and heritage of the Guatemalan people!
