Ashley Bissonette Hi, I have a question. My 4yr little girl has super twisty multi-racial(Im European descent, her dad is 1/2-1/2 European/African descent) hair. I have tried and tried to get her to let me do ANYTHING with it. She fights the combs/brushes to the point that I have never even attempted braids. I have straight hair, and her dads not around to help. Can anyone give me some tips/tricks on making it less painful for her? She can sleep on it for only a couple hours and its in dreads (I dont mind, my older daughter has dreads, but my little one hates them). I have tried leave conditioners, combing while wet, coconut oil....am I missing something?
