Ashley Olsen Is Dating Moneyball Director Bennett Miller Following her recent split with businessman David Schulte, the 27-year-old fashion designer is now dating Moneyball director Bennett Miller, multiple sources tell Us Weekly. The new couple supported one another at the star-studded funeral of Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman in NYC on Friday, Feb. 7. Miller, 47, was a close friend of Hoffmans, and also directed the 2005 film Capote, which earned the late actor his only Oscar. They were introduced and have started dating, a source explains to Us, adding that Miller flew from L.A. to attend Hoffmans funeral. Ashley spent time in Los Angeles with her new man back in January, where hes been editing his latest film, Foxcatcher. Miller and Olsen were also spotting dining together at Dan Tanas in West Hollywood on Jan. 24. Following her twin sister Mary-Kates trend of dating older men -- the fellow fashion designer has been dating 44-year-old Olivier Sarkozy for almost two years -- Ashleys new beau is 20 years her senior. Ashley has also been linked to Hangover actor Justin Bartha. The couple dated from 2008 to 2011. (Bartha, 35, wed Lia Smith in January 2014, and shes now expecting their first child.)
