Ashley has asked: My daughter is 11 months right now and since birth we have bed shared. I love it, however, I think I would like to start trying to adjust her to sleeping on her own. I want any ideas. I am absolutely against leaving her to cry. I even rock her to sleep before putting her in my bed for night. My bed is on the floor for obvious reasons and I have a crib for her but if I even try to lay her down in it she freaks out. I was also wondering any tips to get someone else to be able to put her to sleep. She screams bloody murder if its not me and when she wakes in the middle of the night, I have to lay her back down, no one else can. I should also mention she is breastfed mostly but does get some formula throughout the day and obviously solids. Any help would be appreciated! And I came to the natural parenting group to avoid comments like never should have put her in bed with you and other statements. So please only helpful advice!
