Asian Games (Football): Shahfiq Ghani scored two brilliant goals from the set-piece to hand Singapore a 2-1 win over Palestine in their final Group C match. But the win was not enough to see Aide Iskandars side to the knockout stage as in the other match, Tajikistan scored a last minute winner over Oman to go second in the group. Aide and the players deserves credit as they have played their hearts out in every match, displaying character and determination throughout the competition.
