Ask any professing christain the question-Are you born again- and you can be sure the answer will beyes,but ask us to share the testimony of our salvation,and you will get different kinds of response.Some would sayI dont know how to explain it,another would sayI have been a christain ever since I was born,my father is a pastor....For some people,the testimony keep changing each time you ask them,and for some,their testimony is ever the same at anytime in anywhere.One,there is no way you would be saved and not know,so you should be able to explain how it happened.Two,everyman is born a sinner,so no man is a christain from birth.Also,salvation cannot be inherited from parent or transferred by blood,its a personal encounter with Christ,its been born of God(I John 1:12-13).Three,events that leads to salvation are remarkable ones,and such events remains specific and unforgettable,so if in explaining it,you keep changing the story over and over again,it means youre not yet born again. And lastly,for believers,the gospel is the power of God unto salvation,so we should be unashamed and unafraid to proclaim it(Rom 1:16). When last did you share the testimony of your salvation with an unbeliever?
