Gee, His angels sure were watching out for me. Im praising God for our safe neighborhood. Another delightful church service at North Lanier. What I love the most about the pastor is that he is approachable. During the very first part of praise & worship, he tries his best to shake hands with every one in attendance. Once I attended a church - I believe the role of pastor changed hands several times while I was there - one of them kept his distance. It was almost as if he was afraid to touch any members of his congregation. The subject of Robin Williams was brought up & I was in agreement with what Pastor Lay said about it. We all have the capacity to lose hope like he, obviously, did. This was a man who was famous & loved & admired by an abundance of people yet he struggled, in the past, with drug addiction & presently with depression & the on-set of Parkinsons disease. He was simply not in his right mind. None of us can answer this question - at least no one that I know ... was Robin Williams born again? If you are born again, its possible for you to go to heaven even if you take your own life. There was another baptism at the early morning service - a young person not yet in her teens. I must set mine up & soon. The only bad news is that I now have no tv reception at all. Daryl worked on adjusting the antenna. At first I didnt get Channel 2 but I got Channel 5 & a few additional ones that couldnt be reached before... now NOTHING whatsoever. Suppose I need to decide if Comcast is the right way to go.
