Asking for a little love from our book community..... I wanted to share with you the struggles that my cousin and her son are going through. My cousins son - Gyle - has Medulloblatoma - a brain tumor. The tumor was located on his brain stem and was very large and agressive. Once it was removed it was determined it WAS in fact cancer. Gyle was transported to St Judes Childrens Research Hospital. He has undergone 5 surgeries in 5 weeks....such a little trooper!! As of now - the family has been advised they will be at St Judes for AT LEAST 6 months. A journey that is 10 hrs from their home. So - mom and Gyle are staying at St Judes during treatment. He is receiving radiation at the time, and will undergo chemo treatments at a later date. Gyle just celebrated his 5th birthday this week. I am asking everyone if they could take a few minutes and send a card to Gyle (and mom if you like) to brighten up their day. Just a little note or thought to let them know that someone is remembering them. If you are interested - send cards to....
