Assalamu Alaykum all, just so you all know, there is no taassub or hizbiyya for groups in Islam. You all know my background and my affiliations so Ill tell you straight. This is my philosophy on life, I take people as I find them, if I find someone to be a jahil, no title, position or brand of group will change that, and if the person is a God fearing Muslim then no title, position or group will change that. There are idiots in every group, and Ill call out any idiot in my group or others, maybe more so to those in proximity to me, in fact especially in my group. People continuously complain to me about this brother and that brother saying and doing something stupid, then wanting an intellectual debate. Thats because in any party of human beings there will be idiots, and yes they exist in HT like any other group. Let me make this clear, I wont automatically like someone because we are in the same group. If I love a brother for the sake of Allah (سبحانه وتعالي) its because I found him with iman and signs of Islam, and he can be from any group or not from any group at all. There is no saved group, in every group there are jahils, munaafiqs, muaddab and muttaqis. Groups consist of the best and the worst of people, and if anyone in any group made you think otherwise then, then you have been fooled. Groups accentuate the good and justify the bad. أَنْتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ You will not be responsible for what I do and I will not be responsible for what you do. So I want to be raised with the Muslims and that will suffice, even if the whole Ummah was overflowing with sin. Better to be to get to Jannah with only Iman then to live in a delusion with a batch of friends or any group for that matter and end up in hell. I just thought Id clear the slate, thank you for listening.
