Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters in faith, We are currently in the lunar month of Rajab, the seventh month in the Muslim hijri calendar. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to make the following dua, when the month of Rajab came in: ‘Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha’bana wa ballighna Ramadhan’ “O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”
