Assalamualaikum, Alhamdulillah, with the arrival of the auspicious days of Eidul Adha, the significance of these Mubarak days should be brought to mind. The objective of our existence, as defined by Allah Ta’aala, is His Servitude and Worship. The sublime example of the ultimate sacrifices demonstrated by Sayyidina Ibrahim, alaihi assalam, of home, family, and all that is dear, stands as a graphic expression and confirmation of that servitude. As such, it has been made an annual reminder for every Muslim. Be he in his native place, or during the rituals of Hajj, all are to relive and revive that spirit of supreme submission to our Lord, Allah Ta’aala, and the overwhelming desire to establish His System of life: Deen!
