Assalamualaikum Friends, Thank you mosque jemaah and fellow Singaporeans alike who have contributed a total of S$221,362.94 to the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF). On Friday congregants of Muhajirin Mosque witnessed a cheque handover ceremony in aid of Syrian refugees in Turkey, generously donated by the Singapore Muslim community. This is one of the highest collections for humanitarian relief collected from 4 to 11 April 2014 at all 69 mosques. RLAF is working together with organisers of the Aid for Syrian Refugees In Turkey (ASRIT) project, namely the AMP’s Muslim Expatriates (MEX) Network and Simply Islam who will help to disburse funds collected, to refugees in Turkey. Should you wish to contribute further to the cause, you may do so by cheque to ‘RLAF’ by writing “In Aid of Syrian Refugees” on the back of the cheque or go online at https://muis.gov.sg/epayment/Donations.aspx from now till 31 May 2014.
