Assalamualaikum Wa rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh Knowledge is Light. Sin is Darkness. In order for us to attain knowledge and good understanding of the world around us we need LIGHT(Noor) The less we have of Sin the better and the more Light we have. The more sin we have the less light we have and hence the potential for absorbing pure knowledge is low. if we want to seek knowledge we must humble ourselves and be sincere in our hearts and in our search for GOD. The Chapter titled NOOR(LIGHT) in the Noble Quran gives us guidelines to a fruitfull bright blissfull life. WE learn from this chapter that ALLAH is the light of the Universe. ALLAH is the source of Light and Love. Those that want increase in light and goodness must flee and get close to Allah. Allah is pure and Allah loves those that are pure.
