Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu (May peace be upon you all) Alhamdulillah it has been a very successful year for the ISOC and we would like to say a huge great thank you to the volunteers who have helped out during Charity Week and Islamic Awareness Week! Inshaallah it is now time to hand over to a new set of committee members to take ISOC further and inshaallah have another successful year. The roles are: Head Brother (President) Head Sister (Vice-President) Secretary Treasurer Media Officer(s) Sports Organiser Events manager Saudi representation Union representative Equality and Diversity Champion If you are interested at all in any of these position please contact Brother Raalib Amode by email raalibamode@hotmail or Sister Hifsa Mahmood [email protected] . There is also several other positions that can be included as part of the committee so if you are interested at all in joining the committee drop the people above an email and turn up to the AGM. The deadline is next Friday (21/03/14) for nominations as this is when the AGM and voting will be held after Jummah at 2pm. Also if there are competition for places please have a quick speech reaady for why you deserve the role. Jazakallah khairun, Inshaallah i hope there is a lot of people interested to take ISOC even further.
