Assalom-o-Alaikum, it is said that a person is known by the company he keeps, so, I have assumed that all the existing face-book friends of Renowned Mathematician Honourable Madam Prof: Dr. Tahira Haroon COMSATS are also highly qualified & honorable & that there opinion in my favour may prove very helpful for me. However, I shall not send this requesting message to any female member & I shall restrict my disclosures/stories for suggestion/guidance purpose only to the extant of male members who are either colleagues or otherwise friends in some way of MADAM TAHIRA Haroon. It is said that if a person is in stress/tension, he should consult even a WALL. So, all dear friends (of HONORABLE MADAM Prof: Dr. TAHIRA HAROON, Renowned Mathematician, COMSATS, Islamabad) I request you to spare some time from your valuable one in my favour & read my message carefully & then take some favorable steps (if within your approach) & also send your valuable opinion as these days I am very confused/depressed & under stress. All dear (so-called) new friends, actually, my own face-book account “RANA ABDUL WAHEED” has been partially blocked these days for 30 days & I can not send new friend requests as well as messages to new people who are not my friends already. So, at present, I am utilizing my sons account (with his permission). Dear friends, in order to help/coordinate/suggest me on the relevant topic, you will have to enter into the timeline of a member of Face-book named “WAPDA HOSPITAL FAISALABAD” which has at present more than 1000 friends (members) most of whom are WAPDA employees. Dear friends, for simplicity & for your better understanding/clearance, I am dividing my story into 4 sections as under. 6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 (SECTION-A) FOUR MAJOR POSTS/COMMENTS SENT TO “WAPDA HOSPITAL FAISALABAD” POST- (a) INITIAL COMMENTS Assalom-o-Alaikum, dear friends I have recently joined this team (WAPDA Hospital, FESCO, Faisalabad), however, I have a long experience of exchanging views, putting comments, sharing quotation/ photos , etc on Face book. Actually, this forum provides ample/enough liberty to its members to express their views, bring forward & get introduced their achievements, enhance their business etc, but, here, the situation is slightly different for me as I am a WAPDA employee (Steam Power Station) & most of the members of this team, including subordinate staff/ technical officers/ administrative officers/ medical officers, etc, also belong to WAPDA/PEPCO & so if I pass some adverse comments against any of them, then, I may be subjected to disciplinary action irrespective of whether this disciplinary action has been taken through proper channel or otherwise, i.e., unofficially/by hook or crook/ by political approach/ by labor union influence etc. So, I shall have to exercise my discretion regarding freedom of expression in a restricted manner, but, restricted approach incapable of conveying the constructive input will also not be acceptable. So, I shall have to adopt the intermediate way which may not lead me to face exemplary transfer to TPS, Guddu, Kotri, Jamshoro, Pasni, etc. At present, the medical officers of WAPDA Hospital like Dr. Shoab (MS), Dr, Khalid Dogar (Eye-specialist), Dr. Tarique Bashir (DMS), etc, who are working on key posts, have served for sufficiently long time in WAPDA Dispensary SPS. So, they are most likely to be brought in the list of officers capable of being commented on. ---------------------------------- (continued)---------- POST- (b) Who is the MS of WAPDA Hospital? It is very surprising to point out that an ordinary person cannot guess about the existing MS of WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad by having a summary perusal of the website of WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad according to which the profile of Dr. Shoaib designates him as Sr. Medical Officer (BPS-18). During last one year, I have not attended WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad. However, I have heard from many of my colleagues that Dr. Shoaib is the MS these days after the retirement of a female MS with whom Dr. Tarique was assumed to have some conflict (lack of coordination), but, now, insha-allah pending & attention-deserving problems & matters of WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad are likely to be solved very rapidly on top priority basis because Dr. Tarique & Dr. Shoaib have good working relations & have already worked together for a sufficiently long period. Despite the fact that both Dr.Shoaib & Dr. Tarique have good working relations, there is a huge difference between them w.r.t. their behaviors regarding dealing patients. It is a general opinion of the most of the people who are taking medical facility from SPS Dispensary that Dr. Shoaib is always very very co-operative regarding dealing patients & usually does not hesitate in prescribing the same medicines which a patient demands as useful medicines having given better results in past, but, on the other hand, if a patient requests Dr. Tarique to write/prescribe some particular medicine of his own choice, then, Dr. Tarique at once becomes angry & asks who is the doctor between them? It is worth mentioning here that these days my family relations with my wife’s uncle (Real Uncle) SAIFULLAH KHAN are not satisfactorily settled rather severe controversies/disputes exist between us. The reason behind this is that on 28-02-2013 (i.e. about twenty months earlier) I had to face a conflict in dispensary with Dr. Tarique & on the same date, i.e. 28-02-2013, I wrote (in typing) a very comprehensive request/application addressed to RE SPS FSD & submitted the same on the same date (28-02-2013) & also sent that application (in soft format) through e-mail from my official computer of (IT&R) Section, SPS to my wife’s uncle SAIFULLAH KHAN who was the staff officer of MD PEPCO but he did not do anything in my favor & RE SPS FSD also took the matter lightly as it is said in ordinary sense that buffaloes are the sisters of buffaloes (i.e. officers always support officers).Once, an attendant (BPS-14) of SPS FSD named Mr. Ashfaque moved/filed an application against Dr. Tarique in which he had got supporting signatures of many officials (perhaps more than 100) of SPS, GTPS, CTW, RTL, WAPDA Engineering Academy, NTDC, & FESCO, etc who were taking medical facility from WAPDA DISPENSARY SPS but I did not sign because I was sure that no revolution is likely to take place. It is worth mentioning here that my father does not work in Wapda Hospital Faisalabad.8 hrs • Like • 1TEXT MESSAGE No.3Rana Abdul Waheed Mr. Saad you have not understood the matter. The medicine (Paroxin/Paroxetine) was originally prescribed by Psychiatrist Dr. Tarique Rasheed, Assistant Professor, Punjab Medical College, whereas I was referred by Dr. Farhan Abid Rana, and Dr. Tarique Bashir was bound to follow the prescription of specialist as he is simply MBBS. He did not prescribe the same medicine & WROTE ONLY THE MEDICINE AVAILABLE IN DISPENSARY WHICH IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM THAT PRESCRIBED BY SPECIALIST.7 hrs • Like • 1It is clarified that in response to TEXT MESSAGE No.1, comments/replies were furnished vide TEXT MESSAGES No.2 & 3 as given above. In the end of MESSAGE No.3, Like-1 is written which indicates that MESSAGE No.3 has been liked by one person. Who may be this person (so kind to me)? This person is RANA FARHAN (Dr. Farhan Abid Rana) who was previously a medical officer in WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad but now he has been posted in WAPDA Dispensary of Steam Power Station, Faisalabad for about one or two years. I have no words for expressing my thanks towards this person. Dr. Sahib (RANA FARHAN / Dr. Farhan Abid Rana) had accepted my request / offer of friendship on Face-book just few minutes prior to this LIKING. I think this LIKING is not less than a SUPREME COURT DECISION for me. Actually, I was referred (as a patient) by RANA FARHAN (Dr. Farhan Abid Rana) to Dr. Tarique Rasheed, Assistant Professor (Psychiatry), Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad who prescribed a medicine for me which was not available in the WAPDA DISPENSARY & Dr. Tarique-2 (i.e. Dr. Tarique Bashir not Tarique Rasheed) refused to adopt / follow that particular medicine on the ground of its non-availability in the Dispensary & wrote / prescribed a medicine which was not only different in name but also different from the viewpoint of chemical composition (so-called salt). In the last, I once again thank RANA FARHAN (Dr. Farhan Abid Rana) for his favorable interference in solving this matter in my favor. POST- (d) Prof. Dr. Moiz-ud-Din Khan, Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Virtual Campus, COMSATS, Islamabad. Subject: Request for Advisory Opinion R/Sir, It is most respectfully submitted that my name is Rana Abdul Waheed Khan, age 45 years, qualification B.Sc. Physics Double Math, and I am doing my job at WAPDA, Steam Power Station, Nishatabad, Faisalabad. Sir, I am studying Mathematics just as a matter of interest since long. Sometimes, I listen video lectures of VIRTUAL COMSATS for my knowledge & understanding. Sir, before putting my query, I want to express my dissatisfaction & concern over the existing trend of COMSATS (as well as of Virtual University of Pakistan) to return/send back new/unknown e-mails to the sender with the suggestion to re-send the same ghost e-mail through POSTMASTER. Sir, in your 1st lecture of MTH 321 (Real Analysis), after time duration of about one hour & ten minutes, while discussing the topic of LEAST UPPER BOUND, you have elaborated the concept in a very relaxed & comfortable manner with the help of the following example: Let S = {0, ½, 1/3, ¼, … }⇒ x ≤ 0 for all x ∈ S⇒ 0 is an upper bound of S & 0- ε is not an upper bound of S.⇒ lub(S) = 0 ∈ S.⇒ sup (S) = 0.Sir, I have some doubt about the authenticity of this example. Sir, I hope that you will remove my confusion. Sub: REQUEST AS A REMINDER FOR KIND ADVICE Respected Madam, It is most respectfully submitted that my intellectual caliber does not authorize me to have direct correspondence with a highly acknowledged towering personality like yours but sometimes a person has to take resort to such extraordinary steps in order to get feedback necessary to settle some unsettled matter.Madam, once, about a few months earlier, I had sent an application/e-mail to Dr. Moiz-ud-din HOD, Virtual Comsats in which I had raised a doubt about the authenticity of an example regarding Least Upper Bound (l.u.b) & I had sent a copy of that mail to almost all the Math instructors of Virtual Comsats including you but no reply was received from any one in this connection. This silence/lack of response had, no doubt, adverse effect on my intellectual approach. Madam, as a reminder, I shall paste a copy of the same mail at the end of this request/application.Madam, in addition to above, I also want to bring to your kind notice, another minute conflict with an expectation of reasonable interference on your part.Madam, about one month earlier, on 01-09-2014, Dr. Umber Sheikh, Assistant Professor, Math, National Textile University, Faisalabad (previous instructor ANALYTICAL DYNAMICS, VIRTUAL COMSATS) had sent me an invitation (of friendship connection) to join her on LINKEDIN. At that time, I had no knowledge about LINKEDIN, so I consulted WIKIPEDIA & got some basic information about LINKEDIN & then I created my account on LINKEDIN & accepted her offer with great satisfaction & pleasure because it was a matter of honor for me.Madam, after this proposal & acceptance, I sent enough detailed messages to Dr. Umber Sheikh, but, she did not respond any one & did not send even a word.Madam, I want to know from your side why people behave like such.Madam, no doubt, she has left COMSATS & joined NTU, but, despite this,I strictly believe that she is totally under your kind supervision/control. So please take some step to make me satisfied. Madam, I shall be very highly thankful for both these matters.NOTE: Madam, contrary to the previous practice, no copy of this request/application is being sent to any other person, i.e. matter only between you & me.THANKS, Yours Obediently, Rana Abdul Waheed Khan Dated 04-10-2014 Attachment as per contents of this request: Dr. Moiz-ud-Din Khan, Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Virtual Campus, COMSATS, Islamabad. I have sent you a friend request while facebook team is telling some extraordinary story that this request can not be sent. Are you different from other people for whom facebook does not intimate no access indication? Facebook mechanism is assuming that I do not know who you are while I am that person who is bearing enough financial loss from the time when you refused to write/prescribe PAROXETINE 20 mg as per recommendation of Dr. Tarique Rasheed, Assistant Professor, PMC, after I had been duly referred by Dr. Farhan Abid Rana & you wrote/prescribed WONDER which I had used for more than 10 years & due to its long use it had lost its desired efficacy. You advised me to purchase this medicine from market from my own pocket while AUTHORITY allows me reimbursement of half basic pay (Rs. 8000/= approximately). After that day, I have not entered in the premises of SPS Dispensary. Therefore, you are hereby morally required to review/revise/revisit your previous wording/attitude/future advice to purchase medicines from own pocket in the presence of Mr. Idrees who says that if my illness/ disease/ ailment is not cured by 14 tablets then what revolution will the 15th tablet become. Dr. Sahib, on that day, you had also threatened me that very long term treatment/continuous use of medicines (anti-depressants) might justify/legalize my early retirement on medical ground. Sir, how can I believe you that I can not afford early retirement on medical ground? Therefore, I request you Sir to interfere in the matter positively in the light of re-perusal of the case as requested above so that I may re-start getting medicines freely from WAPDA Dispensary.Sir, I hope that you will proceed in such a way that negative impact of previous incidence may be nullified & rectified.THANKS,ABDUL WAHEED, Attendant, IT&R, SPS, Faisalabad. Ph: 041-9230027-28 Ext. 2013-14Medical Book No. SPL-456 (MESSAGE-B) Dr. Sahib, if you want to know something more about me (my personality), then I can send you (merely by copying & pasting the previous written material in soft format which I have saved either in my computer hard disc or in the inbox/sent items etc, on the internet e-mail/ face-book, etc) some more old stories so that you may have a better insight into my depressive ailment & may refer me to more appropriate doctor/psychiatrist/ neurophysician, etc. However, most of these written materials have been addressed to various tutors, instructors, lecturers, assistant professors, etc of various Universities of Pakistan as am in touch with my education since 1974 (age = 5 years). However, it is up to you whether you want to proceed/advance & read/study these previous stories which were sent either in connection with improvement of academic knowledge/clearance of ambiguous concepts or either from the viewpoint of love/affection & an attempt to secure sympathy, etc.Sir, I am waiting for your response. Thanks 666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 (SECTION-C) TWO APLLICATIONS ADDRESSED TO RESIDENT ENGINEER, STEAM POWER STATION, NISHATABAD, FAISALABAD. (APPLICATION-A) The Resident Engineer, SPS, Faisalabad. Subject: Complaint against Medical Officer R/Sir,It is most respectfully submitted that today on 28-02-2013 I had to go to WAPDA DISPENSARY for medical consultation where medical officer Dr.Tarique Bashir passed remarks about me that I am included in those patients of SPS who come to dispensary just for financial benefits.Sir, I am a sensitive patient of depression & such remarks usually appear to me very difficult to be tolerated, but, nevertheless, I did not exhibit any misbehavior against such unjust saying.Sir, as a protest against such remarks, I shall try my best (to the utmost) not to go to dispensary in future until & unless NATURE compels/forces me to amend my decision in which case medical expenses on my behalf may unfortunately become out of my financial reach.Sir, this is for your kind information & I expect you to advise medical officer not to pass such remarks in future about those genuine patients who do not fall under the so-called fictitious patient category.Sir, if someone inspects my medical book and estimates the quantity & cost of medicines prescribed during last six months for me & my family, then he can very easily conclude that I do not fall under this so-called fictitious patient category. Thanking You, Yours Obediently, Abdul Waheed (Attendant), SPS, Faisalabad.Dated: 28-02-2013 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (APPLIVATION-B) The Resident Engineer, SPS, Faisalabad. Subject: Complaint against Mr.Idrees Dispenser R/Sir,It is most respectfully submitted that the incidence which I am going to report today on 12-09-2013 as a matter of complaint has not occurred for the first time but has been repeated many times by Mr.Idrees and no change in this trend has ultimately made it necessary to be brought in black & white.Sir, I am a patient of depression and my medical prescription is usually repeated for 15 days and usually the medicines prescribed (tablets & capsules) are available in the packing of 14 (7 + 7). Mr. Idrees always tries to provide only 14 (tablets & capsules) and always tries to with-hold the remaining one tablet & capsule. In response to this, I always have to insist on the provision of remaining one tablet & capsule and Mr. Idrees always passes such remarks that if your disease/illness is not cured by 14 tablets or 14 capsules, then, it is sure/confirmed that the last tablet or capsule will also do nothing in your favour.Sir, you are requested to please advise Mr. Idrees to amend his attitude in future irrespective of whether he does so just in order to annoy me or with some other intention. Sir, in my opinion, in this dispensary, there may be a few people who misuse the medical facility, but, Mr. Idrees looks every patient from this point of view. Thanking You, Yours Obediently, Abdul Waheed (Attendant), SPS, Faisalabad.Dated: 12-09-2013 6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 (SECTION-D) THIRTEEN FURTHER COMMENTS POSTED IN WAPDA HOSPITAL FAISALABAD IN RESPONSE TO THE PICTURE OF GHANTA GHAR / CLOCK TOWER OF FAISALABAD (COMMENT-A) Rana Abdul Waheed Dr. Shamim Ahmed (Child Specialist) I request/invite you to read/study my four detailed comments/posts on the Timeline of WAPDA Hospital Faisalabad. Your comments will be very very important for me. October 20 at 8:39am • Like (COMMENT-B) Rana Abdul Waheed Dr. Shamim Ahmed (Child Specialist), you will find the subjects of these posts/comments as under: 1- Initial Comments 2- Who is the MS of WAPDA Hospital? 3- Extraordinary Thanks towards Rana Farhan (Dr. Farhan Abid Ran) 4- Prof: Dr. Moiz-ud-din Khan, Chairman/HOD, Department of Mathematics, Virtual Comsats, Islamabad. (COMMENT-C) Rana Abdul Waheed No doubt, Alhamdolillah, Faisalabad has enough developed in recent past, it is my wish & pray to Allah Almighty that the intellectual approach & attitude of its inhabitants may also grow & they may realize that we should live with love & affection & should not realize any one that he is inferior (in any respect) to us. October 20 at 9:44am • Like (COMMENT-D) Rana Abdul Waheed Some politics-oriented people say that in the era of PML-Q, Ch.Mushtaque Cheema MSC etc had an intention to buildup a new clock-tower in front of Railway Station, but, with the passage of time this project went into freezer & now in front of Railway Station, there is nothing like this. October 20 at 10:20am • Like (COMMENT-E) Rana Abdul Waheed Dr. Azam Khokhar Sahibs comments are not very clear rather ambiguous. Actually, comments of busy people are often like this, while, free/useless people like Rana Abdul Waheed often submit detailed comments & try to make everything clear so that one may easily understand the text. October 20 at 10:14am • Like (COMMENT-F) Rana Abdul Waheed During last ten or eleven months, Rana Abdul Waheed has not attended/visited WAPDA Dispensary SPS, because he was advised to purchase the tablet PAROXIN (PAROXETINE 20 mg) from his pocket without having the option of re-reimbursement because the policy/facility of half basic pay reimbursement was not applicable to every one. Moreover, Rana Abdul Waheed was threatened to be retired from WAPDA service on medical ground. On the day of judgement, Rana Abdul Waheed intends to claim the financial loss occasioned to him which he is suffering due to non-entrance in the premises of WAPDA dispensary because he can not afford early-retirement on medical ground. October 20 at 10:31am • Like (COMMENT-G) Rana Abdul Waheed Rana Abdul Waheed desires that a doctor should so behave his patient that a considerable portion of his ailment may be assumed to escape in consequence thereof. October 20 at 11:19am • Like (COMMENT-H) Rana Abdul Waheed Now, it is the requirement of WAPDA staff bus SPS that I should ask my computer to shutdown & I should start my journey (on foot) towards SPS Check-post. Till then ALLAH Hafiz. October 20 at 11:33am • Like (COMMENT-I) Rana Abdul Waheed After reaching the residence (situated at jhang road FSD) & having lunch, it was difficult for Rana Abdul Waheed to decide whether to pick a book (of mathematics or physics) or to pick his laptop (for entering into WAPDA Hospital). He decided to pick laptop but while picking, he thought for a while about the probable outcome of this useless activity (commentary on WAPDA Hospital with particular reference to Dr. Tarique Bashir) & finally decided to wind up this chapter very soon. So, matters are to be finalized rapidly because Rana Abdul Waheed thinks that this commentary is a hurdle not only in the way of his dedicated efforts towards education but also a threat to his service. October 20 at 2:12pm • Like (COMMENT-J) Rana Abdul Waheed People of SPS usually under-estimate Rana Abdul Waheed mainly due to the reason that his ailment has yet not left/departed him, & Rana is highly optimistic about his future & Rana expects the probable betterment only & only from ALLAH ALMIGHTY & from the books (about 200) which he has taken in his safest custody during last 20 years mainly relating to Physics/Mathematics etc.. I tender an apology for any misuse of this activity. I also tender an apology towards Dr. Tarique Bashir against whom some mis-understanding had developed which induced me to express such opinions as had exhibited poisonous speech.
