Assaulting the CBC, Assaulting Open Speech of a Society, Assaulting the Human rights of Canadians as a Group- CRF violation: I think its obvious what the government is already doing to broadcasting is a sign that theyre too ignorant in regarding a particularly Canadian National voice without a users fee as having any inherent value. The process by which the Harperists are already re-evaluating the CBCs mandate and funding, is coming up catastrophically against what is sensible in a real, valuable living Canada determined to talk to one another freely- as par our right to association- which is facilitated as a human right through the CBC. Isnt it time we realised that those who are determined to dismantle the communications channels of the country, do not place enough priority upon the spread of Canadian content- because they dont find it profitable [never mind that their are somethings that are supremely valuable because they dont transfer their immaterial worth into profit or finance] to be defined as Canadians- amounting to the entirety of the Harperist Caucus at this point. Stifling and Lobotomising your citizens is not the conduct of people who value the idea of Citizens, or ecologies, and prove that they dont value that reality in themselves. When the signal of our particular view points are not allowed to sling back and forth across the entirety of the place, then we might want to consider what the definition of sabotaging those particularities looks like- because it would appeal thats what a government that cant even bring itself to behave with integrity under the heading of Government of Canada and if they cant operate under that heading- they have no business laying hands on the things that belong to that government at the peoples insistence. If it is to remain, this Old Navy Caucus in Ottawa, calling itself the Harper Government then it is not a body of authority that has any right whatever to operate.
