Assisting a Corson County Deputy last night and he was speaking with a DUI suspect while standing by for BIA Law Enforcement, was amazed at the story the suspect told about not driving into the ditch, than blaming his buddy who was passed out for driving, than how there was a snowbank in the road that caused them to careen off the roadway, then how it was so windy that they were blown off the road! LOL!!! The young man was saying how he was just fine until we stopped him, to which Michael Varilek replied that he had stopped himself by landing his vehicle in a ditch! Only thing I told him was he was better off sitting in a cop car instead of an ambulance or a hearse. Took me awhile to warm back up after standing out in that cold cold air! I think I need new thermals.
