Asussss, if I were Manny Pacquiao, I rather give the amount of 320 million directly to to various duly registered NGOs with a pre-condition that the same shall be utilized for the development of livelihood and economic development activities of the communities badly hit by the calamities, thru the duly organized community cooperatives which members shall undergo massive training and social preparation in order to make sure that these community cooperatives shall be most responsive to the needs of its members, and productive thereby contributing to the socio economic progress of the country. The 320 M can easily finance at least 320 Community Cooperatives, and assuming that each duly organized cooperative shall be given 1Million each enough to start up a community Livelihood activity in Eco-Organic Agriculture using even the backyards of the community cooperative members in the identified barangays in Samar, Leyte, Bohol, Cebu, Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz and Antique. Assuming that each Community Cooperative has 100 families with average of 5 family members then, a total of 32,00 families are directly benefited or a total of 160,000 population is effectively served. This is very much better than paying this amount to the BIR, and after the fund ends up to the pockets of the politicians in the form of DAP and PDAF... If Manny Pacquiao shall do this, then he will be exempted from paying taxes out of all his earnings for every fight, and thus, the Filipino people will be more happy and contented and their every clap and cheers are repaid by the Pambasang Kamao. Hope his handlers and legal tax advisers shall consider this option for Manny Pacquiao.
