At 0200, Saturday, 20 December, Naval Station Great Lakes Gate 1 Main Gate will be temporarily closed to all vehicle traffic. Pedestrian access will remain available at Gate 1 via the pedestrian turnstile. This temporary vehicle gate closure is required to perform maintenance. During the temporary gate closure, Naval Station Great Lakes Gate 4, located north of Gate 1 at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (by NEX student store), will be opened 24/7 for vehicle access. We anticipate Gate 1 re-opening late Saturday afternoon.
