At 12 pm an anti-coup march took place from Al-Mohandeseen of Giza, the numbers were massive. As expected, when the protesters reached Tahrir street perimeter in Dokki, clashes erupted. Security forces fired teargas and birdshots for approximately an hour, and the protesters responded by throwing stones. Minutes later an army unit joined riot police and opened fire at the protesters using machine guns and armored vehicles anti-heavy shield machine guns. One protester fill after another, most of the injuries were in the head and chest. Then security forces backed with an army unit kept pushing the the protesters into Mesadaq street, where they killed at least 20 protesters, snipers were positioned on the rooftops of the surrounding buildings killing people randomly. By the end of day "it is announced" that at least 40 protesters were killed. في الساعة الثانية عشر ظهرا بدأ المتظاهرين المناهضين للانقلاب مسيرتهم في حي المهندسين بالجيزة. و قد كانت الأعداد هائلة. و كما كان متوقعا، حين وصل المتظاهرين إلى محيط شارع التحرير بالدقي، اندلعت الاشتباكات. أطلقت قوات الأمن الغاز المسيل للدموع و الخرطوش لمدة ساعة تقريبا، و رد المتظاهرون برمي الحجارة. بعد دقائق انضمت وحدة من الجيش إلى قوات مكافحة الشغب، و قام،ا بفتح النيران على المتظاهرين مستخدمين الرشاشات الخفيفة و الخارقة للدروع. تساقط المتظاهر تلو الآخر، معظم الإصابات كانت في الرأس و الصدر. بعدها قامت ق،ات الأمن مدعومه بوحدة الجيش بدفع المتظاهرين داخل شارع مصدق حيث قتلوا عشرين متظاهرا على الأقل، و كان القناصة قد تمركزوا على أسطح بعض البنايات و كانوا يقتلون الناس عشوائيا. في نهاية اليوم "اعلن" عن مقتل آربعون متظاهرا
