At 1st the customers didnt speak to me... some of the men & women rolled their eyes@me or avoided eye contact, but after theyve eaten some of my wings or chicken quesadilla or anything else Im in the kitchen whippin up... their tunes have changed. Now I get hand shakes, daps & hugs... even an ocassional kiss on the cheek. When I walk into the spot... they wavin & yellin out my name like Im Norm from Cheers!!! And the coolest thing about it is when someone approaches me & says how much they enjoyed the food that I prepared...then hands me a $5 or $10 tip. I mean.... where they doin that at?!
