At 4:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 180 km West of Dumaguete City (9.1°N, 121.5°E). Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, the rest of Visayas and Mindanao and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the Northeast to Northwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas and coming from the Southwest to Southeast over Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
