At 6:29PM (Manila Time) the Sabbath hours began. The Bible likens God as a man who has called his friends to a party but was disappointed to find those who previously made arrangements now made excuses to not attend. So, he instructed his trusted servants to call those not previously invited so his home would be filled and an enjoyable time could be had by all. The Sabbath is a time when God calls His people to spend time with Him. How many of you will make the excuse, “I thought it was on Sunday”, or “Nobody ever told me the real truth regarding the Sabbath”, or “I thought I could stop by anytime and you’d accept me”, or “I’m here now, so does it matter?” It does matter! It mattered to the man who called and it matters to God. If your good friend tells you to “remember” something, it is because it means something to them and they would like for you to share this experience, too. It is no coincidence God when He Himself wrote with His own finger the 4th Commandment, He would state: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor and do all your work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of your Lord and God. In it, thou shalt not do any work. You, your son, daughter, servant or cattle. Not even the stranger who is visiting. For in six days God made the heavens and earth, but on the seventh day God rested and blessed the Sabbath day and set it aside as special and holy.” So, at this time, I’m going to be joining with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit along with the millions of other Sabbathkeepers who know the Truth. I’m also joining the patriarchs, the prophets and apostles who kept it. The question really is asked of you: What will you be keeping, or not? What will you remember? Is the day you keep, “holy”? For there was only one made. It’s either God’s Day or man’s way. You’ve always had the choice to do either right or wrong. Don’t be wrong this weekend. This is your opportunity to show God, your family and friends and even yourself you’ve chosen to follow Him. I’ll see you on the other side.
