At 7:44 AM a year ago today I lost the most important man in my life, the man who took me in along with my grandma when no one else could the man who helped mold me into the person I have become the man who I wouldve given anything and everything for and still would to have just one more second, minute, hour, or day with. Theres not a day that goes by that you dont pop into my head whether is something I see or something one of the kids at work says or I say to them. I never thought wed lose you, you were supposed to out live us all you were supposed to be there to be the crazy grandpa all of us talk about the one whos spelling sucked and Grandma and I had to correct your grocery list or sang give me a home where the beefalo roam. Or always said he had better conversations with himself than anyone else. I still have dreams about you and that time a year ago when I fixed your comeback for the last time when I held your hand and hugged you for the last time no one will ever know or understand the bond we had.
