...At Least Patchy Frost Looking More Likely For Friday Night/Early Saturday Morning... For the Oct. 10-16 time frame, there is at least one morning...SATURDAY OCT. 11...that is now looking cold enough to support at least patchy frost development across various parts of South Central Nebraska/North Central Kansas (but not necessarily everywhere). As it currently stands, low temperatures Saturday morning are forecast to bottom out between 33-38° across the majority of the local area, meaning that although some limited frost is certainly possible, this does not appear to be a widespread freeze event of 32°-or-colder. Beyond Oct. 11th, there are no obvious nights that currently stand out as featuring a threat of frost or freezing temperatures through at least Oct. 16th. For MUCH more information on frost/freeze trends, average dates, etc. across our 30-county coverage area, check out this story (if you havent already):
